In early December, Secretary LaHood announced $280 million for urban circulator, bus, and bus facility projects which support the Department of Transportation Livability Initiative. Project proposals are due in February 2010 with expected project selection by summer 2010.

American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA)

 

Funds Obligated:
FTA has awarded 712 grants totaling $7.23 billion. A total of 205 grants valued at $1.06 B are undergoing review and pending award for a potential total of 917 grant awards valued at $8.3 B dollars in FTA Allocated ARRA funds.
